Weekly Faves
A little mix for your Tuesday
My husband keeps telling me I listen to the most random music, but it’s truly been a savior during my days at home. Working from home the past 8 years I had made it a rule to not turn the tv on as I knew I’d fall into the habit of feeling like it wasn’t a work day. Flash forward to my trusty Spotify playlists and endless listening.
If you like a bit of jazz, bit of old 60’s/70’s, and some melodic tones… this may be your jam too. 🙂
a space of serenity
I think we can all agree that while 2020 has decided to land us in a whirlwind of disruptions and chaos in our everyday normality – we can work towards creating a space of serenity. Because let’s face it, if you’re going to be stuck at home, you might as well create the most comforting atmosphere you can. Bonus, this will serve you post-pandemic too, win win.
I could have added about 25+ items, but here are 10 of my top homeware picks to help bring a little more comfort into your life.
- Plants, to add a bit of life & greenery
- Blanket – an essential, in my opinion
- A piece of art to add a bit of warmth to the walls
- Slippers – extra home coziness
- Bougie hand wash because why not
- Beautiful wine glasses for that little something extra
- Artisanal mug for all the tea & coffee to carry you through
- Gorgeous candle – this one happens to be Zara partnered by JoMalone
- Robe for those evening baths or early mornings
- Set of luxurious sheets – it’ll feel a bit more fancy hotel-esque
Billowy dresses are the way forward
While it’s been certainly easy to stay in sweatpants all day I’ve tried to begin creating an everyday routine by getting dressed. However, I still can’t be bothered to wear jeans or restrictive clothing so all you’ll be catching me wear anymore are big oversized dresses.

Getting back to it…
What else better to do during a pandemic than kick back up an old blog.
In hopes of being more consistent on here this will be much more lifestyle based. A bit of this and that if you will. Anything from fashion, skin care, interior design to travel. A realm of passions!
Thanks for sticking around! Hope you enjoy!
